Journey

We arrived in Madrid on Saturday evening and decided to head into the city to get some food as we had a good 10 hours to kill. After an awesome meal we headed back to the airport to find somewhere to crash out for the remaining 6 or so hours... thanks to Drew´s mum we had a priority pass into the VIP lounge, so bypassing all the other travellers lying on the hard floor we got ourselves a sofa and free drinks for the night, not quite club class like Charlotte, but can´t complain! In the morning we discovered our flight was delayed so sat waiting round for a few hours extra before boarding. However, once on the flight they tell us that there is ´traffic´over Brasil and we are taking a detour via Lima...
19 hours later and we finally arrive in Buenos Aires, 7 hours behind schedule with nowhere to stay. A bus, taxi and walk later and we arrive at a hostel equipt with dodgy bunk beds and a snoring man... no sleep for us! We have just had a free breakfast though! Off to see the city, blog later...

Pre Blog

Well, we are off to South America tomorrow...

Our rough plan is kinda this; Chill out on the beach of Buenos Aires, have a stroll up the mountains of Bolivia, take a dive into the amazon, possibly from Iguazu waterfall, meander up to lake titicaca and cross into Peru where we might take a gander at Machu Picchu before motorbiking up to Lima and heading back for England.
